What does a consulting engagement look like?
We are happy to meet with you free of charge to understand your requirements and to provide you guidance as to where we might help. A typical consulting engagement will begin with us reviewing your SuiteProjects Pro (OpenAir) implementation with you to understand your usage of the various modules. We will then be able to present you with the standard reporting options we can provide based on the data you have available. We can also discuss any custom reporting requirements you may have. This is all documented and agreed upon before we begin development of the reporting solution.
What is your availability to begin a new project?
We do have a number of other engagements going on at any given time but will work to schedule your project as quickly as possible. We can usually begin new engagements within one month of contract signature.
Why is SuiteProjects Reports needed?
Our reporting solution unlocks the power of your NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro implementation. We are big fans of the core software, we have just found that the reporting options are very limited and did not place the required level of detailed data into our leaders hands. SuiteProjects Reports is a bolt-on reporting solution that uses all of the data you are already managing within SuiteProjects Pro to create powerful, multi-tabbed reports with exactly the data you need to drive decisions.
Can you provide examples of the reports you can create?
Yes, we can provide both templates and examples of the out-of-the-box reports we can create as part of a consulting engagment. And once we begin implementation, we can provide the out-of-the-box reports based on your data which will be much more meaningful to your review process.
Does SuiteProjects Reports require additional Oracle licensing?
We do require that you purchase a subscription to the SuiteProjects Pro Automated Backup Service (ABS) add-on. This allows for your SaaS-hosted database to be bundled and extracted to a replicated reporting server on a daily/nightly basis. We have a thorough understanding of how to handle the Oracle database backup and restoration process as well manage all aspects of optimizing your reporting server for performance and scalability. It’s not exactly a simple process but we have done it before!
Where is the reporting server hosted?
The reporting server can either be hosted within your server network OR in the cloud based on your requirements. We can help you decide. We require that the reporting server be a Windows server instance where we have the ability to install, configure, and automate the reporting solution. The reporting solution includes the replicated Oracle MySQL database, a number of scripts, and our deployed SuiteProjects Reports report-generation application.
Can you host our reporting server or would it be hosted in our cloud?
The short answer is yes, we can host your reporting server for a monthly fee. We also offer support contracts that will allow us to be on call for any issues that you may have with your reporting solution along the way (excluding custom work). Please inquire for more information.
